Born and raised in the tropical island of the Dominican Republic, Francesca Robiou is a mother and wife dedicated to making dreamed luxury weddings and special events come true…
As I look back in time, my passion for designing luxury events and heartfelt experiences arose early on in life, as I was lucky enough to witness my mother’s effortless talent of perfectly hosting large and upscaled events in our childhood home. Regardless of size, she made every guest feel seen, heard and special.
The attraction towards designing and becoming part of a creative process followed me until adolescence, paving the way towards embarking on a new adventure and continent. After high school I moved to Paris, where I majored in Language and Cultural Studies at La Sorbonne. These years nurtured my artistic sensibilities, opening unimaginable doors towards understanding the talent behind creating human interactions, our memories and how they are permanently linked to emotions.
Later on, I migrated back to the Western Hemisphere, settling in the city of Miami, where I successfully earned a degree in Fashion Merchandise from Miami University of Art and Design. After which I moved to New York to work alongside and represent fashion designers.
These experiences enriched my knowledge and led me back home, where I opened a boutique Public Relations firm dedicated to specialized corporate events. After years of hard work, my daughter was born, inspiring a new world of emotions and guiding my focus towards my original love of special events and luxury weddings. Though corporate affairs have taught me well, my soul flourishes while planning luxury weddings, baptisms or celebrations that come from the heart. I make sure every luxury event planning experience remains personal, meaningful, detail-oriented and capable of making someone’s dream come true. In addition to spending time with family, my heart feels most at home and content when I witness the love in a room I designed or see my clients’ eyes shine bright and filled with joy as they say, “I do”.
